Rightmark CPU Clock
Jeff our French reader, found a tool that seems to me more power full than Notebook Hardware Control: RightMark CPU Clock.
This tool allows user to select what is going to be the higher CPU speed available when the unit runs on Battery, that along could save some battery life.
And... It's a freeware!

I do not know if rightmark is higher because I still test but it is as effective as nhc.
